Normalising Expressing Affection between fathers and sons this Father's Day

A father-son relationship is usually restricted when it comes to expressing emotions of affection but there still exists quiet, unsaid love that sometimes needs a nudge to be expressed. This year for Philips India’s Father’s Day campaign,  the Pollen team focussed on this premise and set up the perfect nudge for 6 influencers to express their love for their fathers. They created a story around how the new Philips Trimmer made this day extra special by styling them for an event that never happened before. The influencers onboarded for this campaign were Aparshakti Khurana, Sunil Grover, Zaid Darbar, Sumeet Vyas, Jay Bhanushali, and Aly Goni

 

Execution:

While the films do show the use of the Philips One Blade Trimmer, they make a poignant note for men to be more expressive with their feelings and do it in their own authentic way. In order to explore different endings to different videos, Pollen captured the most organic and emotional reactions of each father. Pollen was a part of Philips India’s #KhulKeBolo campaign from ideation to execution. They went from scripting to shooting to execution seamlessly in just 1 week
